Lisa Hineman, NP is a highly experienced Nurse Practitioner at Oncura Health with nearly four decades of expertise in oncology and hematology. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Phoenix, Los Angeles, and her Master’s in Nursing and Nurse Practitioner training from California State University, Los Angeles. She also holds a certificate in palliative medicine and has specialized experience in pain management.

Lisa has been actively involved in the Oncology Nursing Society at both the local and national levels throughout her career. She is a nationally recognized lecturer on cancer therapies, symptom management, health promotion, and improving patient outcomes. Her contributions to patient care and education have earned her numerous honors, including Greater Los Angeles Oncology Nurse of the Year, Advanced Oncology Nurse of the Year, the AstraZeneca Visions of Hope Award, and multiple regional excellence awards. She was also recognized by the City of Glendale with the Donald L. Bogdon Cancer Survivor Award for her impact on community health and cancer education.

In addition to her clinical work, Lisa has been a dedicated advocate for patients with cancer, serving in leadership roles within professional organizations and contributing to policy efforts that support patient care. She has mentored and educated countless nurses and nurse practitioners and has volunteered extensively with cancer-related organizations.

Lisa is deeply passionate about patient and peer education. She is committed to helping patients better understand their care, improve their health, and navigate their diagnosis with confidence.
