Dr. Choi is a highly respected medical oncologist at Oncura Health, specializing in the treatment of cancer, with experience managing a wide range of oncologic conditions. He is known for delivering personalized, evidence-based cancer care, with a focus on incorporating the latest advancements, including clinical trials and emerging therapies.

Originally from South Korea, Dr. Choi grew up in the Chicago area after immigrating to the United States. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, graduating summa cum laude with a degree in chemical engineering. He earned his medical degree from Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine.

Dr. Choi completed his Internal Medicine residency and Medical Oncology fellowship at the University of Wisconsin–Madison, where he developed expertise in comprehensive cancer treatment and multidisciplinary care.

After relocating to Southern California, Dr. Choi became a leading oncologist in the Riverside community. He serves as Chair of the tumor board at Riverside Community Hospital and is an active member of its Cancer Committee, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to guide complex cancer cases.

Dr. Choi is actively involved in clinical trials, helping provide patients with access to cutting-edge cancer treatmentsand innovative therapies.

Fluent in English and Korean, Dr. Choi is able to connect with and support a diverse patient population.

Outside of his practice, Dr. Choi enjoys listening to classical music and playing basketball.
