Dr. Ronald Tang is a board-certified hematologist and medical oncologist at Oncura Health, specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of cancer and blood disorders, including leukemia and colorectal cancer. He is known for delivering evidence-based, patient-centered oncology care with a focus on prevention, early detection, and advanced treatment options.

Dr. Tang graduated cum laude from University of California Los Angeles with a degree in Molecular, Cell, and Developmental Biology. He completed his Osteopathic Internal Medicine internship at Valley Hospital Medical Centerand his Internal Medicine residency at LAC+USC Medical Center. He went on to complete his Hematology-Oncology fellowship at University of California Irvine.

Dr. Tang has received numerous honors throughout his career, including the President’s and Professional Achievement Awards from Western University of Health Sciences, a Summer Research Fellowship at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, and Departmental Honors at UCLA.

He has contributed to oncology research and academic publications, authoring case reports on myeloid leukemia and metastatic colorectal cancer, with abstracts published in Annals of Oncology, Journal of Clinical Oncology, and Journal of Investigative Medicine. In addition to his clinical and research work, Dr. Tang is a recognized voice in cancer education and has appeared on national and local media outlets, including ABC World News Tonight, FOX 11 Los Angeles, NBC, and CBS, where he discusses cancer prevention and treatment.
