Dr. Raowas is a board-trained hematologist and medical oncologist at Oncura Health, specializing in the treatment of cancer and blood disorders, including melanoma, hematologic malignancies, and clotting disorders. He is known for combining advanced clinical expertise with a personalized, patient-centered approach to cancer care.

Dr. Raowas was born and raised in Damascus, Syria, where he attended the University of Damascus Medical School, graduating at the top of his class with highest honors. He also scored in the top 1% on the United States Medical Licensing Examinations.

He completed his Internal Medicine training at the University of Texas Medical School at Houston, where he developed a strong interest in hematology and oncology. He went on to complete a specialized fellowship in Melanoma Oncology at the internationally recognized MD Anderson Cancer Center, training alongside leaders in targeted therapies, immunotherapy, and advanced cancer treatments.

Dr. Raowas further completed his Hematology and Medical Oncology fellowship at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center, gaining comprehensive experience in treating a wide range of cancer types and benign blood disorders.

Outside of his practice, he enjoys gardening, traveling, and spending time with his wife and three daughters.
