Dr. Ramin Mirhashemi is a distinguished, board-certified gynecologic oncologist at Oncura Health, specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of gynecologic cancers, including ovarian, cervical, and endometrial cancers. He is widely recognized for his expertise in advanced surgical oncology and robotic-assisted procedures, delivering cutting-edge, patient-centered cancer care.


Dr. Mirhashemi earned his Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Southern Californiaand went on to receive his medical degree from the Keck School of Medicine of USC. He is board-certified in both Obstetrics and Gynecology and Gynecologic Oncology, reflecting his comprehensive training in women’s cancer care.


Throughout his career, Dr. Mirhashemi has held prominent academic and clinical leadership roles, including Associate Professor positions at the University of Miami and Harbor-UCLA Medical Center. He has also served as Chief of Gynecologic Oncology at both institutions.


He currently co-chairs the Gynecologic Oncology division and the Robotic Surgery Program at Torrance Memorial Medical Center, a Cedars-Sinai affiliate, where he continues to advance minimally invasive and robotic cancer surgery techniques to improve patient outcomes.


Dr. Mirhashemi is a prolific contributor to gynecologic oncology research, with numerous publications in leading medical journals and contributions to surgical textbooks. His work focuses on improving surgical outcomes, advancing cancer treatment, and expanding the use of robotic-assisted procedures in gynecologic oncology.


He is affiliated with top-tier hospitals, including Torrance Memorial Medical Center and Long Beach Memorial Medical Center, providing expert care for patients with complex gynecologic cancers and conditions.
