Dr. Raffi A. Chalian is a board-certified gynecologic oncologist at Oncura Health, specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of gynecologic cancers, including ovarian, cervical, and endometrial cancers. He brings extensive experience across clinical care, research, and academic medicine, delivering personalized, evidence-based cancer treatment for women at every stage of their journey.

Dr. Chalian earned his medical degree (MBBS) from the Imperial College School of Medicine. He completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Pennsylvania, followed by advanced fellowship training in Gynecologic Oncology, where he developed expertise in surgical oncology and comprehensive cancer care.

Throughout his career, Dr. Chalian has held academic appointments as an Assistant Professor at Thomas Jefferson University and Temple University, reflecting his commitment to medical education and advancing the field of gynecologic oncology.

Dr. Chalian has contributed extensively to oncology research and medical literature, authoring peer-reviewed publications, book chapters, and conference presentations on topics ranging from fertility preservation to gynecologic cancer management. He has been recognized for excellence in teaching, including receiving the Penn Pearls Award.

He is board-certified in both Obstetrics and Gynecology and Gynecologic Oncology, and is an active member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) and the Society of Gynecologic Oncology (SGO).
