Dr. Kyung is a board-certified hematologist and medical oncologist at Oncura Health, specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of cancer and blood disorders, with a focus on delivering equitable, patient-centered oncology care.
Dr. Kyung completed her undergraduate and medical education through the prestigious combined BA/MD program at Case Western Reserve University, where she graduated cum laude with a degree in biology and a minor in chemistry. She earned her medical degree from the Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine.
She completed her Internal Medicine residency at Olive View UCLA Medical Center and went on to complete her Hematology and Medical Oncology fellowship through a collaborative program including Olive View UCLA Medical Center, Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, and Kaiser Permanente Sunset Medical Center.
Dr. Kyung is board-certified in Internal Medicine, Hematology, and Medical Oncology, and is an active member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) and the American Society of Hematology (ASH).
She has a strong interest in addressing cancer disparities and improving outcomes in minority populations, including Asian American communities. Dr. Kyung has presented her research at multiple conferences, focusing on health equity, access to care, and disparities in cancer diagnosis and treatment.
