Dr. Weber Chen is a board-certified hematologist and medical oncologist at Oncura Health, specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of cancer and blood disorders. He is dedicated to delivering personalized, patient-centered oncology care, with a strong commitment to serving diverse communities.
Born and raised in Taipei, Taiwan, Dr. Chen brings a global perspective to his practice. He attended the University of Michigan and earned his undergraduate degree in Biology, graduating cum laude from Loma Linda University. He received his medical degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine.
Dr. Chen completed his Internal Medicine residency at St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center, where he served as Chief Resident, and went on to complete his fellowship in Hematology and Medical Oncology at the same institution.
He is an active member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO), the American Society of Hematology(ASH), and the American Medical Association (AMA), staying engaged with the latest advancements in cancer treatment and hematology care.
Dr. Chen is also deeply involved in community outreach, particularly within the San Gabriel Valley Chinese community, helping improve access to care and education around cancer prevention and treatment.
